The RoleThe RoleOur client, a well renowned diversified group company in Dubai, has an immediate requirement for a Translator to join their team in the Dubai Corporate Office. This role will involve working with Top Management in the translation of documents for Classical Arabic-English and vice versa. Reading through the written material and translation of the text ensuring that the entire meaning and concept is retained. Areas of translation will be from Classical Arabic-English and from English-Classical Arabic. Making use of multiple tools to ensure the translation is grammatically correct. Effective use of software tools for presentation of the translation. Liaising and communicating with Senior Management to discuss and clarify all areas of the text document. Providing a final word processed version of the document and ensuring completion of the project within the timeframe allocated. Taking responsibility for overseeing the administrative operations of the Management office including: Diary management Travel bookings Attending Management meetings Publishing minutes of the meeting and action to be taken. |
RequirementsRequirementsBachelor's degree from a recognised University Minimum 3 years of experience in translation Experience in the translation of Classical Arabic-English and English-Classical Arabic is essential The ability to prioritise work effectively and complete within timeframes Excellent communication skills are a must |
