Job description / Role

KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

As a result of our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Translator to join our Infrastructure Division in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for technical translation of construction and bid documents from English to Arabic and vice versa. In addition, you will provide administrative support and work on any ongoing office based projects.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

• Technical translation with prior knowledge of the construction industry is advantageous.
• Ability to work in English and Arabic fluently, both written and verbally.
• Organizing and coordinating calendars and meetings, assisting with proposals and business development documentation, and other project-related adminstrative activies in support of construction staff.
• Self-directed and highly motivated with a talent for maintaining organizational standards within the department and as well as being the point of coordination with other departments.
• Significant experience and knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office package including Outlook Mail.
• Professional appearance and excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Translation or related discipline or Secretarial Diploma is essential with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience ideally within an Architectural, Engineering or Construction consultancy environment in the Gulf Region.
