Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for complete transmission network fault and performance analysis on access, BH and core layer of the network
2. Responsible to segregation of problems on different layers of transmission network
3. Identification of correct fault owners like field operation teams, Power teams and Transmission planning team
4. Responsible for devising the solutions for all the related problems to Transmission operation teams
5. Followup for the faults related to other departments for early resolution of the problem
6.Follow up with regional operational teams for fault identification and isolation
7. Responsible for evaluating new plans and providing feedback to the planning team for plan enhancement where required.
8. Responsible for studying, understanding and communicating details of High Level & Low Level Designs to team members.
9. Responsible for developing Standard Operating Procedures to guide lower level staff in completing routing tasks.

Technical Requirement:
1. Should have hands on experience on well-known MW short haul product ( NEC, Huawei, Ericsson ,ALU and NSN)
2. Should have hands on experience on Long MW product of NEC ,NSN ,ALU and Ericsson
3. Should have hands on experience of configuration management via NMS of all the well know MW vendors
4. Should have hands on experience on DWDM equipments of Huawei
5. Should have hands on experience on Huawei OSN series product for configuration management
6. Must be familiar with all the process of implementing change request/work orders
7. Should be familiar with all the new technologies in transmission domain
8. Must be aware of all the protection schemes ( SNCP,MSP,PP,ERPS,LAG etc)
9. Must be familiar with all the flows of preventive and corrective maintenance.
10. Must be familiar with 3G transmission network
11. Possess working knowledge of IP and Ethernet transport technologies (E-LINE, ELAN, EIGRP/OSPF, sub-netting, VLANs, QoS)
12. Must be familiar with DCN solutions in transmission network.
13. Must be familiar with network synchronization.

Requirements

Experience:
1. Required experience should be more than 6 years
2. Should be holding the position of either Team lead or Transmission Operation expert for at least 2 years
3. Preferably should have worked in both Vendor and Operator Environment

Education and interpersonal skills:
1. Should hold a bachelor degree in Engineering from a reputable institute
2. Any other certification will be considered as a plus
3. Should have good communication and interpersonal skill
