Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Coordination and participation of all activities within the Transport Services Section; including the control over the long term contracts for outsourced Transport services such as Bus travel for employees between business locations, fleet car contracts and contracted driver hire.

Responsible for:
Control of Drivers and allocation of workload and schedules.
Scheduling the required Vehicle repair, servicing and ensuring availability and service delivery.
Engages with vehicle leasing services to ensure transport service delivery.
Ensures proper record keeping, registration, insurance and accident reports are logged and tracked.
Providers user support for the employees using the provided bus services between accommodation sites and work locations.
Monitors the safe working conditions of the on-site petrol station and garage facilities.

Requirements

Record keeping skills to ensure data is managed, retained and availible when required.
Capability to arrange scheduling of drivers and sub ordinate staff to ensure service delivery.
Adaptable to circumstances and able to give guidance and resolution to issues such as accidents or unexpected driver schedule alterations.

Degree level education ideally in a Transport or Service discipline.

5 years of experience in a similar role with a large industrial organisation.
Good written and spoken English language.
IT literate in common office software.
