Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Transport Coordinator will coordinate transportation of cargo with vendors. Working with schedules to prepare the yard with adequate trucks for dispatches.

- Liaise with vendors regarding the ordering of leased trucks.
- Track trucks using GPS and constant communication with drivers.
- Coordinates with operations supervisor and outbound supervisor as to transport required.
- Build relationship with drivers and vendors to increase efficiency.
- Assist in planning the dispatching operations for every week
- Study the routing of all trucks to ensure full knowledge of supply chain.
- Ensure that employees handle their tasks correctly and efficiently
- Intervene in operations when required
- Ensuring that all paperwork is returned in timely manner

Requirements

- Experience working within logistics and warehousing.
- Good communication Skills
- Capable of handling multiple tasks.
- Capable of undertaking new requirements with short notice
- Good Administration skills
- Excellent Arabic and English language skills
