Job description / Role

To support these world-class franchises, AF Motors have an established network of showrooms and service & parts centres throughout the UAE.The JIT Supervisor is to devise and implement transportation solutions based on the needs and requirements of the company. He has to plan strategically, implement, and coordinate the route of delivery vehicles and also in charge of delivering the goods from one customer/site to another.
Responsibilities:
* Able to identify and suggest a cost effective and feasible transport plan for the company.
* Must ensure that all vehicles are in good working condition.
* Ensure that all insurances and registration of the vehicles are renewed on time.
* Coordinate vehicle maintenance work with Service Department.
* Maintain logs of the total distance traveled by the vehicles.
* Monitor expenditure of maintenance work and should maintain work records, job reports, inventory records and trip reports.
* Conduct mid-year and annual performance review.
* Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order.
* Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in workplace.
* Present a neat and professional image.
* Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
* Follow company policies and procedures.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualification, experience and skills:
Education:
College level or College graduate
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years in similar position preferred.
Skills:
* Good knowledge about the vehicles.
* Should possess good management skills.
* Able to provide improvise an existing solutions or to give quick new solutions.
* Good computer skills and have good working knowledge on the programs like Excel, outlook and Microsoft word.
* Capable of writing instructions and procedures.
* Able to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
* Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
* Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.
* Able to multi-task.
* Problem-solving and analytical ability.
