Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading travel local company based in UAE, is seeking to recruit qualified travel consultant to join their sales team.

Reporting to the company general manager, the incumbent will be responsible for offering travel services to both retail and corporate clients. Accordingly, the job-holder shall:
- Actively interact with suppliers as well as clients.
- Promote and sell airlines tickets, travel products to retail & corporate clients and offer them up-to-date travel solutions.
- Handle complex travel transaction and advise clients on itineraries, as well as maintain service level and achieve monthly target.
- Maintain excellent relationship with clients, business associates and trade partners.
- Ensure the delivery on time and at the high quality level.
- Liaise with all departments in the company to keep record up to date.
- Maintain clientele data-base.

Requirements

- Should have Diploma in ticketing, high-school or equivalent.
- Should have standard fares & ticketing certificate from IATA or equivalent.
- Has at least 3 years work experience within travel industry gained from being travel consultants handling corporate clients.
- Should have knowledge in GDS.
- Should have good knowledge of world geography and major carrier network in order to facilitate quick itinerary planning.
- Should be computer literate.
- Should possess strong verbal & written communication skills in English.
- Speaking Arabic or any other foreign language is a certain advantage.
