Travel Consultants (X4) - AF Travel - Al Futtaim Group - Dubai, UAE

The job purpose of the Travel/Holiday consultant is taking care of the responsibilities of promoting and selling of Al Futtaim Travel products and services to the Public/Retail & Leisure Walk in clientele from a Retail travel outlet. Handling of direct Walk-in customers, enquiries through Telephone/email, fax and support in accordance with the standard operating procedures & assist in increasing the sales & market share and meeting the set business targets of the Retail outlet.

Assist the Retail outlet & the Branch Supervisor in effectively handling the travel operations and retail expertise on a day to day basis, effective handling of clients to increase sales/ cash flow of the outlet, ensure smooth operations & team work within the organizational guidelines in order to achieve the departments customer service and revenue targets.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Diploma in Travel and Tourism, IATA Basic/Advanced fares and ticketing and or equivalent,
- Minimum 3 years experience

Job-Specific Skills:
- Basic knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel
- Excellent command of both written and spoken Arabic and English
- Basic Industry knowledge
