Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Travel Coordinator is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

• Oversee the daily tasks of the current Travel Co-ordinator and provide support and guidance where required
• Supervise a team of meet & greet and driver personnel that provide airport pick-up & drop-off for Military, Commercial & F&V passengers
• Arrange travel bookings for all employees that travel to and from Kabul/ Kandahar/Dubai – includes flight bookings (commercial and military, domestic and international), marhaba bookings and liaising with Travel Dubai to make hotel bookings and issuing visas
• Send passengers lists to Travel Dubai (for the airlines where required)
• Build a strong working relationship with the travel agent, airlines and other third parties involved with travel bookings
• Liaise with employees and/or their Administration teams regarding their travel, accommodation and visa requirements
• Arranging accommodation for all Supreme employees or Supreme visitors when required
• Provide monthly a report on all bookings made
• Review and analyze costs to ensure cost efficiency
• Advise the Travel Manager of any changes in procedures by the military or third party base operation companies eg. Compass, in respect to flight bookings, badges or information requirements
• Provide recommendations to the Travel Manager on improvements to the current systems, policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as requested by Travel Manager

Requirements

Essential:
• Educated to a minimum standard equivalent to A level
• Fluent in written, spoken and read English
• Attention to detail

Desirable:
• Minimum one year experience in dealing with travel bookings
• GDS Reservation System experience
• Experience in supervising staff
