The RoleThe Role•Ensure that all client needs are satisfactorily met and delivered with the highest standards of service •Booking of required DFS flights, commercial airline tickets, visas, and hotel, car hire and holiday package bookings worldwide •To be a proactive source of assistance and advice from initial enquiry through to completion of travel •Liaise with airlines in relation to any schedule changes, resolve knock on problems and advise affected clients in a courteous and timely manner •To accurately prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports for clients, accounts or management team when requested •Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all travel suppliers •Other duties as assigned by Management From time to time you may be asked to represent DFS at travel industry events. |
RequirementsRequirements•Fluency in English – excellent written and spoken English is essential. English as first language is an advantage •Willingness to work in a sales focused environment, with the ability to meet and exceed individual performance related targets •Professionally presented with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills •A passion for travel, with a good knowledge of global geography •Travel industry experience [including use of GDS] preferred but not essential •Natural ability to build a rapport with clients •Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize •Ability to work calmly and methodically under pressure •Exemplary attention to detail •Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products •Ability to work flexible hours to suit company requirements (i.e. night & day shifts) •UAE/Dubai experience preferred |
