Treasury Analyst – Arabic Speaker

Job description / Role

We are working with a highly successful GCC trading business searching for a Treasury Analyst to join its Treasury team in Dubai. Supporting the Head of Corporate Treasury, you will act as lead for a number of subsidiaries across the region:- manage all corporate bank account administration, cash management and provide support to any foreign exchange transactions.

Core Duties:

Manage the corporate bank account including signatories, bank mandates, open and closing of accounts
Monitor and prepare financial reports (treasury reports) on the company’s daily/weekly/monthly cash balance/movements, including all FX, cash and inter-company transactions
Monitor all affairs relating to trade transactions including Letters of Credit and Letters of Guarantee for imports and exports; this includes monitoring settlement of accounts and liaising with banks on these matters
Carry out any other special assignments and projects as assigned by the Head of Corporate Treasury including daily treasury reports, debt/liquidity and covenant reports

Requirements

Required:

Fully bilingual English/Arabic speaker; fluency in French would also be highly desirable
Degree-educated in accounting, banking or economics
Approximately 1 to 3 years experience in a treasury-related role, either as a financial accountant, back office operations in trade finance or similar
Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
