Job description / Role
A large MNC are looking to appoint a Financial Operations Manager to oversee the banking operations and cash management functions. The purpose of this role is to ensure designated cash processing, reconciliation and reporting tasks are accurately completed in compliance with the company policies and regulations
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain all banking and cash management policies, procedures and associated internal controls
• Ensure that all banking and cash transactions comply with internal and Saudi banking and other associated regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage revenue and collection systems effectively.
• Run Cash Management operations in a cost efficient manner in terms of people and opportunity costs, with maximum possible automated integration with other processes (AR, AP, and Payroll) and in compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
• Maintain and optimize use of e-banking systems.
• Maintain efficient relationships with the cash management and transactional banking partners
• Reconcile all cash applications, disbursements and bank accounts in a timely manner.
• Monitor cash transactions to ensure accurate bank accounts balance and financial statements and investigate suspicious items.
• Complete all cash management set-up documentation for new and existing department processes; prepare correspondence and proposal templates directed to and for cash management
• Ensure the availability of liquidity by forecasting and monitoring cash flows (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.)
• Coordinate with project managers, project controllers and other relevant groups to accurately forecast timing and future cash flows over the next two years
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by division staff.
• Perform all tasks and activities in accordance with policies and procedures
• Assess the level of skills set of employees and identify the need for development programme
• Motivate, coach, develop and support respective employees.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any related field.
• Master in Business Administration or specialized certificates is preferred.
• Minimum 15-20 Years’ experience in relevant fields
