Al-Futtaim's Retail Division holds a stable of world class brands operating in buoyant markets with huge growth prospects. Some of our brands are Marks & Spencer, Toys R Us, and IKEA as well as Robinsons with a range of smaller brands selected for their appeal to the markets in which we operate. We currently operate our Retail outlets across the Middle East and in South East Asia.

We have enjoyed phenomenal success throughout the UAE, Egypt and GCC countries. We are in the final stages of outline planning for massive growth and need to prepare for the next phase of this program.

Automotive Finance Shared Services is a department under Automotive handling the back officefunctions related to accounting for Automotive. AFSS handles Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger Accounting, Reconciliations, Sales Accounting and annual closing and audits for the Automotive Division of Al-Futtaim.

Job Purpose

To ensure the management and effective utilization of funds, submission of accurate and timely management of information and initiating and maintaining of foreign exchange hedging for Retail business.

The role will consist of coordinating and centralizing all group demands, preparing status reports, supervising standards, procedures, policies, work instructions and methodologies adopted during the implementation phase.

Key Accountabilities

* Fund Management - Responsible for the effective utilization of funds with special emphasis on reduction of finance cost.
* Cash Flow Management -
* Consolidate Monthly Cash Forecast for Retail Division
* Prepare a Consolidated Variance analysis of Actual and Forecast on a monthly basis.
* Foreign Exchange Management - Responsible for the maintenance of foreign exchange contracts and recommend action on the contracts on due dates.
* Credit Card & Cash Collection & Change Delivery Services - Provide support and ensure the smooth operation for the Retail Business
* Reports to Group Treasury - Ensure the timely availability of group reports.
* Liaison with Banks and Accounts Receivable Department functions - Liaison with Banks, Supervising the Accounts Receivable Functions

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Ideally, this person must have a very strong financial background and should be familiar with of all business operations. Specialist qualification in Finance at Graduate level.

Minimum Experience:6 - 8 years

Job-Specific Skills: Analytical, Numeric, Microsoft Office, Knowledge of accounting policies of the group as well as IFRS.

Behavioural Competencies: Committed, Hardworking, Good communication skills.
