Job description / Role
My client is a large reputable national bank based in the middle-east, who is presently seeking to appoint a Market risk manager to join their office in Qatar.
As a part of the position you will report to the head of treasury risk, and be responsible for identifying, measuring and migrating risks as they arise within the treasury. You must ensure that you are compliant with all policy limitations whilst contributing to the maintenance and development of market risk policies.
Requirements
To be suitable for this role the successful candidate must have a degree level qualification in Finance/Mathematics; other relevant disciplines will be considered. Candidates must also have additional qualifications in CFA, FRM & PRM.
The ideal candidate will have around 5 years’ experience in a risk environment; management level experience is preferred although not necessary. Candidates from multinational banks are encouraged to apply, in particular candidates from Europe who are looking to make their first move to the Middle East.
