Tree Management Supervisor - ASPIRE LOGISTICS

• To inspect the assigned Trees (Aspire Zone or Aspire Park), including landscape health and presentation and contractor manpower performance in order to ensure alignment with Aspire Zone standards and guidelines and contractual agreements pertaining to Trees.
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Ensure that all relevant HSE procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that HSE compliance can be guaranteed.
• Inspect, continually, the assigned landscapes in order to ensure health and presentation in alignment with Aspire Zone standards and guidelines.
• Inspect tree maintenance performed by contractor manpower in order to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and report any deficiencies for immediate action.
• Follow the maintenance schedule that the contracted manpower has to follow in accordance with the current tree maintenance schedule guidelines.
• Inspect work in progress and completed projects in order to ensure adherence to plans, standards and specifications for landscaping thus recommending project acceptance.
• Monitor and record amounts of material used in order to contribute adequate control over costs and spending.
• Prepare inspection reports in order to keep track of inspection activities and keep superiors abreast of progress and deficiencies, if any.

Requirements

• High school / landscape diploma.
• Specialized courses in chainsaw operation, experience in operation a chainsaw.
• 3 years of related experience of which a minimum of 1 year should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry.
• Strong tree managing skills and record keeping.
• Eye tree cultural techniques such as fertilizer, pruning, shaping both in training contractors and monitoring.
• Understand basic of tree pruning, especially for tree health & structure and for aesthetic reason.
• Should have a GCC experience

• Building, operating and managing high quality international standard sport facilities • Providing support for staging of sport events and activities • Providing shared services support for the precinct’s business partners – ASPIRE Academy and ASPETAR
