Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Trial & Transition Manager works within the Ground Services - Hub responsible for developing, establishing and implementing trial concepts of new procedures and standards for Qatar Airways Ground Services at New Doha International Airport. This role will work closely with Ground Services, DIA and the ORAT Trial Manager and ensures that all Ground Services staff members have participated and attended the NDIA familiarization and trial programs which are fundamental to guarantee a smooth transition and opening of New Doha International Airport. This role is instrumental in fulfilling group wide Operational Readiness and Airport Transition requirements in the most cost effective manner without disrupting the existing operation at DIA.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Essential
. Bachelor's degree
. Preferably Post Graduate in Airline/Airport/Hospitality Management or related field will be an advantage.
. Comprehensive understanding of the regulations and standards required by IOSA, ISAGO.

Previous Experience:

Essential
. Specialist - minimum 5 years of job-related experience required
. At least three - five years work experience in an airline, airport, ground handling agent or hospitality environment.
. Work experience in process/procedure development is an advantage.

Preferred
. Experience in similar a role in an international setting.
. Experience in pre-openings of airports or hotels is an advantage
. Procedure/Document Management/Publishing work with major organisation
. Proven problem-solving skills

Job Specific Skills:

Essential
. Must have advanced skills in MS Project, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
. Must have excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
. Must have experience in designing process flow charts with MS Visio
Preferred
. Project Management or Project Administration experience
. Change Management Tools
