Job description / Role

Turf Supervisor - ASPIRE LOGISTICS

• To inspect the assigned landscape (Aspire Zone or Aspire Park), including landscape health and presentation and contractor manpower performance in order to ensure alignment with Aspire Zone standards and guidelines and contractual agreements pertaining to landscaping.
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Inspect Turf maintenance performed by contractor manpower in order to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and report any deficiencies for immediate action.
• Inspect work in progress and completed projects in order to ensure adherence to plans, standards and specifications for turf thus recommending project acceptance.
• Report any foreseen turf components which require rectification or change outside the scope of any current contract or scope of work in order to ensure landscaping needs are met.

Requirements

• High school/ landscape & Turf diploma.
• Specialized courses in engineering, horticulture, landscape architecture or similar field.
• 3 years of related experience of which a minimum of 1 year should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry.
• Should have a GCC experience
• Principles, methods and equipment used in landscape cultivation and maintenance
• Attention to detail
• Communication skills

Aspire LOGISTICS was established by Emiri Decree number 1 for the year 2008 as the strategic business unit of Aspire Zone Foundation responsible for supporting the activities of Aspire Zone by:

• Building, operating and managing high quality international standard sport facilities • Providing support for staging of sport events and activities • Providing shared services support for the precinct’s business partners – ASPIRE Academy and ASPETAR
