Employment: Full Time

Al-Futtaim is regarded as a pioneer in the Gulf region's Automotive industry and encompasses every aspect of the Automotive business; from passenger and commercial vehicles and construction equipment sales and service, to used car sales and rental and leasing.

Al Futtaim Auto Center (ALAC) is part of the Al Futtaim's Automotive Division. ALAC has six divisions comprising of Body Centers - Toyota & Lexus within UAE, Fast Repair, Customs & Classics, Auto Equip, Tyre Zone and Fastfit. ALAC offers end to end solutions in aftersales for both business to business & retail customers.We are looking to recruit an experienced Manager to oversee the Tyrezone divison of Al Futtaim Auto Centres, based in Dubai. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the efficiency, profitability, growth and expansion of business operations through judicious utilisation of both internal and external financial and human resources, and opportunities.

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Sales, Gross margin & Net Contribution Performance: Accountable for ensuring the achievement of budgeted sales, gross margin & net contribution for TBA(Bulk).

Franchises & Interaction with Principals: Currently AFM / TBA holds eight major franchises (Toyo tyre, Maxxis tyre, BFGoodrich, Jinyu, Chaoyang tyre, GS, Panasonic, Asahi battery).Tyrezone Managerresponsibilities is to ensure all our brands are procured and priced competitively in the market. Responsible for coordinating with all Franchisees / Principals on a day to day basis on matters and issues such as pricing, availability, new product launching, rebate negotiation and distributorship agreement renewals etc.
Customer visits: Regular customer visits along with Sales Executives for relationship building and also to ensure our products are given equal importance on their counters and adequate stocks are being maintained.
Customer credit limit, outstanding & overdues control: Review time to time credit limit of customers and ensure payments are  collected within the approved credit limit and monitor customer overdues.
Tyrezone Administration & Company policy: Responsible for ensuring that Tyrezone administration is functioning smoothly as per the company policy and procedures. Ensure different units and sections of the division are functioning with smooth interaction.
Manpower, Appraisals & Training: Study the manpower requirement and prepare justifications for the new requirement. Responsiblity for existing manpower performance individually, and provide necessary support and motivation for performance achievement and staff growth. Recommend necessary staff training based on the job requirements.
Budgeting & Management Reports: Responsible for yearly budgeting and growth planning. Submit various reports to Management such as monthly board report, OPS reports etc.
Marketing & Advertisements: As per the agreements with our principal, advertisements are planned in coordination with GMASCO to ensure fulfillment of principal's requirement.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

A) JOB KNOWLEDGE
Field of Specialisation: Automobile / Tyre & Battery Sales

B) SKILLS
General skills required for the job: Strong communications, organisational and analytical skills & Supervisory.
Behavioural Competencies: Individual Accountability/ Customer Focus/ Leadership/ Teamwork/ Motivational / Decision Making/ Adaptability / Flexibility

C)EXPERIENCE required for the job: 6-8 yrs in a similar position, of which 3-4 years in a Managerial position
Minimum Qualification: Post Graduate (Science or Commerce)
