AOIC has a paid-up capital of Dhs 250,000,000 which is significantly higher than most of the players in the market. On June 27, 2008, Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services raised its long-term counterparty credit rating and financial strength rating to Arab orient Insurance Co. to “A” from “A-“. The improvement in the rating reflects AOIC’s strong capitalization and consistently very strong and stable earnings, accompanied by prudential asset management with very strong liquidity. Arab Orient Insurance Company is a customer oriented insurer with over 25 years of experience in the UAE insurance market. The company’s core strengths lie in its strong financial base, highly qualified and customer friendly workforce, in-depth knowledge of the local insurance market and a diversified product range complimented by a strong panel of top ranking European Reinsurers. With head office in Dubai, the company serves its clientele through an extensive branch network in Bur Dubai, Jebel Ali, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai Health Care City, Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Zayed Road and Muscat, Oman. We are looking for a UAE national for this role. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Develop data processing applications for the maintenance of premium and claim records related to all the individual departments of the company
• Design a coding procedure to suit the data processing system and input all with a view of easy retrieval
• Analyse data and produce statistical reports as may be required by the Management to control the underwriting of the company’s business
• Prepare monthly and ad-hoc computerised reports which will assist the management in effectively meeting the company’s objectives
• Organise and maintain all computerised and manual records to ensure smooth flow of work
• Keep informed on all matters related to data processing as well as relevant information related to the various classes of business being handled by the company.
