Our client, a Healthcare leader in Abu Dhabi is currently seeking to recruit UAE Nationals - Contact Center - Patient Information Specialist

Job Summary

The position of Contact Center Patient Information Specialist/Operator is the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for delivering accurate information while offering a first class patient experience by fully embracing the culture of the company and the Patients First values.

The Contact Center Patient Information Specialist/Operator is also responsible for communicating and dispatching a variety of customer service requests including referrals to appointment schedulers and internal service desks, and the quick and accurate processing of all telecommunications needs such as transfer of calls, paging and responding to emergency and security calls.

Main Responsibilities:

- Responsible for all switchboard-related functions.
- Responds to general enquiries and can clearly articulate the organization products, services, location and opening hours.
- Handles overhead announcements in a professional and efficient manner in a clear speaking voice.
- Processes all phone calls according to priority and protocols and dispatches appropriately.
- Responds to emergency code calls by utilizing a multi-function phone system and screen
- Answers all phone calls in an accurate, timely, friendly and professional manner; actively listening to the callers requirements, assessing needs and accurately referring callers to the relevant departments or services.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and attributes:

- Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- You must be UAE Nationals.
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- High School Diploma is required.
- College or technical training a plus. If no High School Diploma is held, three (3) years of relevant technical call center experience, or working in a similar capacity in a relevant field, is required.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, hospital operations would be an advantage.
- Ability to demonstrate genuine concern for patients and patient satisfaction in a non-facing environment.
- Ability to manage and efficiently complete multiple tasks on time.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Phone, typing, computer and Internet navigation skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment.
