UAT Tester

Job description / Role

Carry out User Acceptance Testing on credit/debit card systems, leading to UAT sign off and movement of programs to production environment. Activities will include preparation of Test plans, Test scripts and scenarios based on business requirement document, documentation of defects and resolutions.

• Understand application / module in detail and breakdown into functions
• Breakdown identified and given functions into detailed test conditions, in coordination with users where required.
• Convert detailed test conditions into test cases / Test scripts in a standard format
• Analyze and Prepare all data requirements for testing
• Prepare data guidelines document to conduct testing
• Prepare the Test Data as per the data Guidelines document
• Provide inputs to enable preparation of Run Plan
• Execute test cases and log test results
• Defect logging, analysis, reporting and escalate where necessary,
• Re-test defect cases and ensure successful result
• Daily reporting of test progress
• Prepare and sign-off UAT document for production movement

Requirements

Graduate – in commerce/finance or similar.

Accredited Credit Card Banking Courses (will be an advantage).

Minimum 2 years work experience in card projects with a good understanding of Card Management Systems
