Leading International Insurance Company has an excellent opportunity for an Underwriting manager to develop a long term lucrative career.

JOB PURPOSE

To lead the Underwriting Division in Bahrain focusing on Reinsurance, Survey/Loss Control, Technical Training and Technical Audit for all classes of Commercial and Personal business in accordance with the Group Strategy.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

To drive underwriting, pricing, and reinsurance decisions to obtain or surpass the plan targets for growth and underwriting profit.
To provide information and technical / underwriting training to brokers as requested
To ensure quality and compliance of underwriting documentation
Ensure full compliance with all regulatory compliance statements with regards Underwriting.
To lead, motivate, develop and support the Underwriting team and coach people as appropriate

PACKAGE DETAILS

The Package on offer is BD.1500 to BD. 2500 total package per month + Performance related Bonus

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Applicants must have 5 + years experience in commercial insurances at a senior level

Must have a thorough understanding of Underwriting, Actuarial Pricing, Reinsurance, Risk Management and Technical Training

Must have knowledge Treaty and facultative reinsurance models

Must have Proven track record of effectively leading a team

Must have Professional qualification either in CII, ACII, FCII or the equivalent

Must have Excellent written and spoken English
