Job description / Role
- To manage the corporate relationships in the Team's portfolio, maximize on the returns and minimize the risk to the Bank while striving to enhance these relationships by way of increasing numbers and increasing the level of facility utilization by these Corporates, as well as generating an appropriate funding base for the business.
- Manage the corporate relationship base of the assigned Team / business portfolio.
- Enhance the corporate portfolio by an agreed percentage as compared to the previous year.
- Increase the profit generated by an agreed percentage as compared to the previous year.
- Increase the deposit base by an agreed percentage as compared to the previous year.
- Take appropriate measures to ensure that the marketing strategy is fully communicated with absolute clarity to all members of the team to follow.
- Cultivate existing corporate relationships to enhance utilization of facilities by the agreed percentage (%).
- Work on developing, sourcing and enhancing the funding base for the corporate business to ensure that the deposit base exceeds the corporate loan portfolio by the agreed percentage (%).
- Evolve and establish a mechanism to obtain on-going feedback from customers to measure the levels of client satisfaction. This is to be reported through call reports.
- Provide prompt responses to all client queries /needs, and high quality of client service by all team members, to ensure a high standard of client satisfaction.
- Supervise the planning of proposed corporate portfolio of assigned employees to ensure compliance with bank guidelines and professional standards. Counsel and guide assigned employees to ensure that the approved business objectives are met.
- Develop marketing plan & implement it as per agreed objectives in order to maximize profitability & achieve business growth.
- Establish, Review & Monitor the performance standards.
- Provide inspiration to the other team members by demonstrating high sense of team spirit, motivation and staff satisfaction levels.
- Keep abreast of the changes in the market place, to provide competitive market intelligence.
- Ensure that assigned employees are up-to-date with professional developments and monitor their professional development programs.
- Guide team members for direct focus on specific markets.
- Deputize the DH in his absence.
- Assist DH with management tasks.
- Assist team members in resolving issues with different departments.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities consistent with the role as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Masters is a plus (expatriates) / any graduate degree for UAE Nationals.
- Minimum 10 years experience in banking, specifically developing and administering corporate portfolios.
