Job description / Role
Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for Tax Management activities within the Hub
Plans & Manages tax audits smoothly, ensuring compliance with local tax legislation
Ensure tax efficiency
Ensure high quality in tax accounting and reporting
Mitigate tax risks and provide tax advice
Ensure alignment with global tax processes and directives
Supervise activities within Tax Management
Competence management for unit employees
Review & approve direct / indirect / withholding tax calculations, accounting, and filing
Analyze tax positions and take corrective actions
Manage tax payments / refunds
Identify potential tax risks / liabilities
Manage outsourced tax service providers
Manage tax audits
Signature on all tax reports and tax filings
Requirements
Candidates need to be as a minimum degree qualified within a relevant subject including (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax etc) and have experience of dealing with international tax laws, particularly in the Gulf / Levant area. You must be knowledgeable in GAAP /IFRS and understand financial systems.
Candidates must be able communicate verbally and written in both English & Arabic. Knowledge of Turkish and / or Farsi would also be beneficial.
