Urban Planner - Junior Associate

Job description / Role

Salary: up to AED 15,000 based on Experience

Our Client is a privately held company that collaborates with public stakeholders to establish national infrastructure assets and varied urban economic clusters
With registered offices in Malaysia, United Arab Emirates and the United States of America
Their models involve acquisition, development, and management of infrastructure systems that encourage economic integration, foreign direct investment and technology transfer.
Initiatives include mass transit systems, special cluster developments, township and municipal service operations

Their immediate requirement is for an Urban Planner to join the team in Dubai.

Responsibilities
- Develop concept Master Plan including zoning guidelines, land usage, traffic and road design.
- Develop overall infrastructure planning, catering to land size and expected population
- Design of Master Plan converting land parcels into optimal mix of built up areas

Requirements

- Masters Degree in Architecture , or equivalent in Urban Planning
- Extensive course work in Architecture and Urban planning form the Educational Institute
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in Urban Planning.
- Previous experience in large master planning companies, or experience with local Governments in Town planning and City organization.
- Experience in using relevant urban planning software like: AutoCAD, Skestchup, Indesign, Photoshop, 3Dsmax
- Currently residing in the UAE
