User Experience Manager - eCommerce - Retail Divisional Office, Dubai

Al-Futtaim's Retail Division holds a stable of world class brands operating in buoyant markets with huge growth prospects. Some of our brands are Marks & Spencer, Toys R Us, and IKEA as well as Robinsons with a range of smaller brands selected for their appeal to the markets in which we operate. We currently operate our Retail outlets across the Middle East and in South East Asia.

We have enjoyed phenomenal success throughout the UAE, Egypt and GCC countries. We are in the final stages of outline planning for massive growth and need to prepare for the next phase of this program.

We are looking for a User Experience Manager - eCommerce to join our Retail team based in Dubai.

The main responsibilities of this role will involve:
- Provide UX budgeting, scoping, and project definition creation.
- Produce wireframes, prototypes, user interface specifications and UX guideline. I.e. manage all aspects of UX design delivery end to end.
- Advising the business when to involve user research and testing.
- Provide oversight to the enhancement and harmonization of UX across the Business line and the Marketplace products.
- Work on Websites performance continual improvements.
- Work closely with Online Managers to help align product development with customer needs and effectively translate into best-in-class solutions.

Requirements

- M.Sc. degree in MIS, Computer Science or (Arts, Multimedia and digital design).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as UX Manager with web development roles.
- SEO experience is preferable.
- e-Commerce User Experience Certificatio for Retail is advantageous.
- ISO 9001:2008 Certified Internal Auditor is a plus.
- Experience in 3rd party eCommerce integrations across SAP, WCS (or similar CM), Core Metrics or other Analytics, Ratings & Reviews and Payment/Checkout processes.
- Knowledge of W3C, HTML, XHTML standard with CSS, HTML, DHTML JQuiry, AJAX and JavaScript coding.
- Has worked and coordinated directly with the Ecommerce business units.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including prioritizing and mutli-tasking while paying close attention to detail.
- Hands on clients account management.
- Hands on Integrated Change Control.
- Hands on lean management.
