Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working with a leading global multi-disciplinary in Qatar. Our client is looking to hire a Utilities Coordinator who will be the main point of contact for all utility, traffic and highway diversions.

You will obtain permits and liaise with required government bodies for the implementation of design specifications. You will also monitor design requirements in order to obtain the necessary road opening approvals whilst acting as the main point of contact between all relevant government entities for utility interfacing and coordination.

In addition, you will coordinate highway, traffic and utility diversions in accordance with design specification, attending meetings where required. You will also ensure all relevant documents, permits and requirements are noted for inclusion in construction contracts.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be Degree qualified with a minimum of 5 years working experience at least 2 of which should be handling utility approvals. You should ideally have local experience as well as an NOC, but it is not essential if you have proven utility approvals experience. Arabic fluency is highly advantageous.
