Utilities Manager

Job description / Role

Responsible for managing the camp utilities services operations and maintenance.

• Maintain and service fuel system, document all deliveries, shall be solely responsible for fueling, running and maintaining all power facilities to ensure availability of power 24 hours each day. Safe operation of the utilities, fuel storage and dispensing systems
• Planning, implementation, and evaluation of maintenance plan and services within the utilities area.
• Generator power: maintain, service, record data, preventive maintenance, maintain spare parts list, and problem solving, propose improvements with respect to efficiency and reliability
• Understand and manage all HSSE requirements
• Develop site specific HACCP for potable water, this shall encompass the identification and control of hazards throughout the entire water supply, treatment and distribution system
• Write and implement utilities operations procedures, and work instruction and maintain manuals and drawings

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Degree in engineering.
• 10 years experience running, maintaining and repairing power generation equipment, sewage plant, Reverse Osmosis plant and fuel systems
• 10 years of proven experience on the job in a multi-cultural setting
• Proven expertise in management and coordination and supervision of a team responsible for maintenance and repair of all camp equipment

Skills:
• Good English language skills, both oral and in writing
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Experienced in priority setting, decision-making and managing a team
• Goal and result oriented
