VAS Administrator

Job description / Role

- Configure and maintain VAS applications (city management platform, community portal, and home automation platform).
- Ensure availability of VAS applications for end users.
- Fix software errors to make sure that the VAS platforms are up and running for end users.
- Liaise with VAS vendors for advanced support
- Create application users and define permissions
- Define new business processes as needed within the city management platform for the end users
- Administration of the community portal including managing and maintaining the web servers and application servers.
- Content adding and editing for the web portal as needed.
- Home automation platform management and support

Requirements

- BSc. degree in a technical field related to Information Technology and Value Added Services
- Good knowledge of web servers administration including apache web server and Tomcat application server administration, basic programming, Java script, XML and HTML knowledge
- Good knowledge of facility business process management
- Good knowledge of home automation platform
- Experience in AC Automation, Sensors, CCTV, Lighting Control, and other automated systems (Access Control, Security Systems, Alarms, Etc.)
- 5 years plus of telecommunication platforms engineering experience
- PC literate with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of CRM databases and IT systems used for service delivery and customer services
- Arabic and English (fluent)
