Employment: Full Time

Our client is leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contractor in Saudi Arabia who has completed more than 80 major electro-mechanical turnkey projects.
With 1,500 employees and offices in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, they are specialized in building power stations. Their expertise also includes oil & gas and industrial facilities, turbine inlet air cooling projects and district cooling, including cooling water purification

Requirements

Our client is looking for a CFO with more than 10 years experience in Financial management, preferably in the contracting business, whose role will be:
• To design the company’s financial policies, rules and regulations and to make sure that every department adheres to them. To ensure efficient systems, process and controls (approval circuit, document controlling, e.g.)
• To supervise accounting function and prepare yearly legal statements (assisted by his team) observing the regulations in KSA and guaranteeing the quality, accuracy and reliability of all financial information. To monitor and control accounts of all the departments of the organization.
• To prepare and handle the budget of all projects and alert if there are any significant deviations
• To manage ongoing banking relationships for maximum efficiency
• To arrange needed resources of finance in order to meet the needs of the company
• To make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions
• To develop and analyze information to assess the current and future financial status of the company,
• To perform financial reporting to help managers in their decision-making, and to inform the board
• To train managers in finance basics when needed
• To suggest, propose actions that improve the financial health of the company
• To analyze market trends, behaviors and competitors
• To periodically evaluate and review business costs in order to reduce them
• To intermediate with the auditors in order to assure the yearly supervision is carried out in a proper way.
• To ensure the observance of law in all finance issues (taxes, book-keeping, auditing…)
• To organize and optimize clients’ credit (billing, payment)
• To forecast and prevent financial risks (e.g. non-payment)
• To supervise and render the cash flow, forecasting future trends

Skills:
- Bachelor in Economics or Bachelor in Engineering plus MBA
- More than 10 years experience in Financial management, preferably in the contracting business
- Advanced user of Information Technology (financial applications, excel…)
- Aims for quality work and guarantees the accuracy and reliability of the finances of the company
- Advanced time management skills: able to prioritize, to respect deadlines, to organize the work
- Strong analytical skills
- Able to design rules, procedures, methodologies, and to ensure they are learnt and applied by everyone
- Problem solving ability
- Flexibility, ability to adapt to changes. Able to question the existing, to find new ways, new ideas.
- Negotiation skills
- Strong leadership skills
