Job description / Role
My client are a leading Oil & Gas organisation who provide support to the development of the UAE, with a vision to be a leading Oil & Gas group that efficiently serves communities. They have been expanding for some years now and are currently looking for a Vice President of M&A reporting into the Head of M&A.
A suitable candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head of M&A in leading the organisation's M&A activities including sourcing, due diligence, financial modelling, valuations and execution. They will also be expected to contribute to the M&A strategy and report to the senior management.
Requirements
In order to be successful a candidate must have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
- MBA or Master of Finance
- 8 - 10 years of experience in M&A
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas
- Deal experience in the upstream and downstream Oil & Gas sector - both upstream and downstream is essential
- International experience
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
- Investment Banking experience in preferred
- Strong execution track record
