Job description / Role
On behalf of our client, Swisslinx Middle East is currently seeking a VP Portfolio Manager for a private investment company in Dubai.
As the VP, Portfolio Manager you will be joining a best practice enterprise to lead the listed equity investment strategy. Based on a global mandate, they combine both passive investment products and active external fund managers to encompass regional, sectorial, international and themed strategies.
Reporting to the CEO your responsibilities will include:
• Developing the investment strategy
• Recommending investment exposures based upon in-depth research and analysis;
• Continuous monitoring of the portfolio performance, exposures and risks including correlation, tracking error, volatility etc;
• Directing thorough due diligence on external fund managers/investment products;
Requirements
To be considered for this role, ideally you must possess the following:
• 8 to 12 years relevant experience within the equity investment realm
• Relevant degree and qualifications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Due to the highly analytical nature of this role, strong research, analytical, and report-writing skills are a must
