VP – Sales & Business Development (IT)
My client is a regional technology services firm that defines designs and delivers information technology (IT)-enabled business solutions to its clients. The Company provides business solutions that leverage technology for its clients, including consulting, design, development, software re-engineering, maintenance, technology, package evaluation, implementation, infrastructure management services and outsourcing. The Company complements its service offerings with specialist support for clients using its domain competency group that has expertise in areas, such as Banking (Core banking, Retail banking, Islamic banking, Corporate Banking, Treasury, compliance and AML), securities, Investment Management (Asset management & Brokerage management), Business Intelligence, Enterprise solutions (ECM, CRM, ERP, CLP), Outsourcing (Application Outsourcing, Infrastructure Outsourcing, Business Process Outsourcing, Packaged Outsourcing), telecommunications, Insurance, public sector, Infrastructure solutions, (Underwriting, Claims Processing and Property & Causality), Technology solutions (Data warehousing and MiddleWare) and Document processing. The following job description includes some of the required responsibilities under this designation (but not limited to):
Reporting to the CEO the Senior VP – Sales and Business Development will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You are required to have a career track record in managing business development in financial services, telecom or government sector and leading. You will be required to develop a strong network in the industry and should be able to get new business. Reaching out the market, positioning, requirements gathering, managing and facilitating pre-sales, preparing proposals, follow-ups, and managing the entire teams will all be part of the responsibilities. You should also be able to align your business development in line with company's short and long term strategies. You will also be required to keep the executive management in confidence on all your strategies, plans and initiatives.
You will be focusing on developing strategies and leading business initiatives into the companies 3 main Services:

The Ideal Candidate
You should have the following credentials (but not limited to):
•Prior experience and good track record of working in a similar role for an IT Consulting firm, with particular track in either financial services, telecom or government sector.
•Ability to manage several business development initiatives in parallel and setting strategies and budgets.
• Solid IT technical knowledge to convert customer requirements to solutions and opportunities
•Willing to be part of a growing organization and playing a role on a Senior Management level.
•Prior experience of working in Saudi Arabia or Middle-east would be an added value.
•Being bilingual (English and Arabic) would be an added value.
