Job description / Role
A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Vice President for Group Audit, to join their team in Bahrain. The role involves planning and executing audits and reviews of all the companies businesses, departments, subsidiaries, affiliates and branches within Bahrain and abroad, to objectively report to Senior Management and Audit Committee of the Board on asset value and adequacy of risk management and controls, particularly relative to Trade Finance activity. The individual must have top interpersonal skills to manage relationships at all levels within the institution and external parties. The role will include numerous periods of overseas travel.
Requirements
The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of banking experience, with a preference for at least 5 years working within the internal audit function of an international bank and solid knowledge of Trade Finance products. A broad range of degrees are accepted i.e. finance, accounting, banking, business, audit or risk management or any related professional qualification such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or similar.
