Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To handle the setup, review, & maintenance of the supplier database and periodic ERP maintenance for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Department while ensuring high levels of ethics, diplomacy, confidentiality and communication skills.
• Responsible for the administration & maintenance of centralized system for registering new vendors, archiving vendor credentials and updating records (tracking CR expiry, etc.)
• Participate in designing and launching a supplier rating system using relevant KPI metrics.
• Establish and execute periodic supplier evaluation process.
• To act as the single point of contact for receiving supplier credentials for registering new vendors and making recommendation for adding to the category list and supplier database.
• To assist in special projects related to periodic ERP maintenance activities in coordination with ICT Department.
• Coordination with all staff within SCM Department and performing the necessary activities.
• Perform duties in an organized and systematic fashion within a high-pressure fast-paced environment.
• Organization, Filing, and maintenance of document logs & data entry.
• Ensure compliance to the Department Policies & Procedures

Requirements

• Diploma in Business, Commerce, Administration, Secretarial Studies or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of office experience, with exposure to procurement considered an asset.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to organize vast amounts of data.
• Hands-on Oracle ERP and data entry experience specifically with Procurement module.
• Ability to use independent judgment & to manage confidential information.
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and possess solid time management skills.
• Capable of working the entire MS Office suite, especially advanced Excel skills
• High degree of professionalism
• The ability to work under pressure, without supervision, and have good organizational skills
• The ability to read Arabic is essential for this role
