Vendor Manager, Contracts Manager, Telecommunications Vendor Manager

Vendor Manager required for our global client that specialise in voice and data communications.

We require candidates from a Service provide (telecommunications) background. Develop and share in region market knowledge.

Manage data network costs in region. Support cost reduction projects such as discounts on renewals, network hubbing and grooming, outage credits, tax and fee exemptions, etc.
- Qualify and support negotiations of new contracts with vendors.
- Manage contractual compliance and operational performance of vendors through formal vendor operations reviews.

Review and keep up-to-date the contracts and agreements established with the vendors.

Understand the largest vendors profiles through contract summaries, purchase and selling profiles, operational reviews and other relationship-building activities.

Requirements

- 5-7 years business experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- University degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to effectively manage project schedules and changing terms and conditions.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience from a Service Provider (telecommuications).
- Must have excellent computer skills, knowledge of standard MS Office programs.
- Experience with the telecommunications industry or other high tech industry dealing with technical equipment, services, products and systems.
- Some travel is required.
