Veterinarian

Job description / Role

Supervision of vaccination execution.

Monitoring of the immunity status of the stock.

Coordination with Farm Manager in all aspects related to bio-security.

Reports to Farm Manager.

Replace Assistant Farm Manager during his absence.

Follow up all issues related to the health status of the livestock.

With Vaccination Team, execute the vaccination program; control the correctness of administration of vaccines.

Collect materials and samples required for tests.

Conduct all required internal tests and organize external tests.

Evaluate vaccination program and propose modifications.

Daily check mortality – number and reasons and advise treatment.

Follow-up sanitation program.

Evaluate sanitation program and propose changes.

Follow-up farm bio-security.

Training workers for vaccination and medication application, Spray, Injection, Eye Drop, Water and wing Web.

Training workers for house cleaning and sanitation.

Collect feed samples and organize regular laboratory tests of feed quality.

Collect water samples and organize water quality tests.

Order, register usage and keep store of vaccines, vitamins, veterinary drugs, sanitation materials.

Requirements

Minimum five years experience in the field of poultry.

Having Bachelor's degree in VET Science.

Methodical and well-organized.

Having ability to work under pressure.

Speaking fluent English. Knowledge of Arabic will be additional merit.
