The RoleThe RoleOur client, a Highly reputed Property Development firm based out of Dubai is looking to recruit a Vice President - Commercial to head the commercial function of the organisation. Responsibilities may include but not be limited to: Key Responsibilities: Work alongside a management team and are responsible for a workforce consisting of QS Management and Surveyors. Fully participate in the Leadership Team in the commercial direction and takes responsibility for Commercial management of construction projects. Maintaining the commercial and contractual integrity of the business. Review and identify where there is scope to enhance the profitability by promoting rigorous adherence to systems and processes and by promoting innovative commercial solutions. Involved in Commercial contracts, procurement and tenders. |
RequirementsRequirementsKey Attributes: Minimum 10 years of demonstrable successful track record in the construction sector experience. Possess an in-depth understanding of the industry, its key players and relationships within the UAE region. Background in senior commercial roles and with an in-depth understanding of the commercial aspects of running a business unit. Skills and experience to bring to bear across a range of complex, often high profile projects. Strong QS and Commercial management experience. Contracting industry background ideal. Bilingual - Arabic speakers preferred. |
