Our client is a leader in Family Entertainment, Restaurants, Food and Retail across the Middle East working with more than 50 global leading names in Restaurants, QSR, Fashion, Footwear, Cosmetics, Department Stores, Casual Dining, Home Furnishings and more. They have a large presence in all countries in the MENA region as well as in Europe with well recognised brand names.
We are now looking for a proactive, commercially focused and profit driven Vice President - Retail Entertainment for the Middle East. Based in Kuwait, the candidate will have the exciting opportunity to develop from scratch a high-quality, family entertainment brand throughout the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• To start-up a major edutainment business in the Middle East region, objective which will include the following:
• To define and implement a 3-5 years business plan for the new brand
• To be fully accountable for the brand's P&L delivery
• To ensure consistency of product & service delivery; setting brand standards
• To ensure adherence to standards through regular meetings, monitoring and planning sessions with top management
• To manage quarterly & annual reviews against performance
• To liaise with key home brand representatives of the new brand, acting as head representative.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• 15-20 years gained in retail entertainment environments, including a minimum of 10 years in senior management positions
• Proven track record of major successful start-ups & developments of retail entertainment chains or equivalent is a must
• Strong multi-country / multi-region retail experience
• Solid multi support functions expertise as a business general manager, combining a proven "hands-on" operational practice with strong strategic skills
• Significant multinational / multi-cultural experience
