The Company
My client, one of Saudi Arabia's leading IT solution providers, is recruiting for a well educated, experienced and charismatic VP - Finance to provide strong leadership and help usher their business through strong current and future growth.

The Role
Develop the strategy for the Finance and Shared Services department, and monitors the implementation to meet the clients business needs and to contribute to business objectives.
Oversee the accounting and financial affairs and ensure that the financial position is accurately reported within the approved time scale.
Assume responsibility for asset liability management by developing, monitoring and managing the asset liability strategy and guidelines of the client.
Establish governance processes for direction and control to ensure that objectives and achieved, risk mitigated and resources optimised and ensures that the client meets KSA financial regulations and standards.
Develop action plans to improve the shared services department working with the direct reports, and to implement any changes.
Develop and control consolidated annual budget across all departments (liaises with strategy and planning / office -of the-CEO to align strategic and business plans).
Ensure and maintain healthy liquidity.
Ensure that the client has adequate provisions, including credit reserves and internal expense liabilities and monitor the performance against financial targets for the client.
Lead the development and improvement of financial models, processes and approaches used by the finance team.
Ensure the quality of work of internal and external auditors.
Support the Procurement function in its responsibilities and ensure that the client complies with all local and international regulation.
Monitor and advise the Government affairs in order to meet the government standards and requirements.
Ensure that the clients procurement function follows and applies the client policies and procedures and the latest SLAs.
Present accurate and reliable financial statements and reports on the financial position / key transaction of the client (periodic and ad-hoc)to the CEO and shareholders.
Lead the preparation and timely submission of accurate statutory reports.

Requirements

The Person

- The candidate must be a Saudi National.
- Ideally qualified (CPA, ACCA etc) and western educated.
- 10-15 years of experience, with 5 years being in a senior leadership position.
- Have exposure to emerging technologies (IT solutions, telecoms etc).

Salary
SAR 70,000 - 85,000 per month
