The RoleThe RoleOur Client, a large property developer based in Dubai with operations spanning 8 countries is looking to recruit a Vice President - Projects for their Dubai based operations. Purpose of the role is to oversee the overall planning, quality and cost control of projects. Responsibilities may include but not be limited to: Streamline projects execution and delivery, ensuring adherence to cost factors and timelines. Responsible for the oversight and successful delivery of projects within the UAE region. Oversee all aspects of projects from feasibility, scheme design, detailed design, construction and handover. Overall project control and guidelines, managing group of Senior Project Managers. Involved in all aspects of contract agreements & costs. Make recommendations and bring value engineering to the project. Responsible for directing the professional Consultants. Assume responsibility for the timely delivery of the Project through the pre and post tender stages and within agreed cost parameters. Solely responsible for the management of time-lines, cost plans, procurement strategies, and general project strategy development within the assigned projects. Reports to the Head of Projects. |
RequirementsRequirementsCivil Engineering Degree is a must, higher qualifications will be desirable. Minimum 10 years of post qualification experience working with reputed Project Management companies or Master Developers in project execution. Developer experience will be desirable. Construction management of High-Rise Towers or Large scale community development is essential with project values in excess of 500 Million AED. Member of a professional project management association is a definite plus. Strong commercial knowledge of consultancy and construction contracts and their execution, and have excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentational communication skills. |
