Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Client: Telecoms provider

Provide leadership, planning and coordination of the Companys financing operations in order to develop and prudently maximise support for the Companys goals and objectives.

Primary responsibility is to lead on all aspects of the companys cash management activities, including: ensuring it meet its financial obligations; obtaining and maintaining sufficient lines of credit; preparing and reporting on cash flows forecasts and budgets.

Securing the liquidity position is a key part of the overall financing strategy, and the role involves assessing, recommending and securing the optimal financing structures that meet financing objectives.

Work closely with CEO in assessing companys performance benchmarks and recommend changes when warranted, and support and participate in strategic plan activities. Reviews and recommends changes to the investment policies based on the market conditions.

Forecasts daily/weekly/monthly cash requirements and executes daily financing decisions.

VP Treasury serves as financial risk assessor who seeks to protect company from the financial risks it faces from its business activities. In addition, the role requires an understanding of many areas of business and the ability to communicate with a variety of financial professionals.

Establish treasury policy in align with Companys strategy; advise on investment opportunities, arrange appropriate funding and manage financial risks

Provide financial services and support for the Company and its internal departments.

Design and implement processes and procedures to ensure sufficient and timely reporting of the progress of financial activities to management including a robust cash forecasting reporting process (payments to suppliers; receipts from customers; loan drawdowns and repayments etc.)

Provide analysis, advice and support to management regarding proposed acquisitions and other investment/sales opportunities. Advise on the financial aspects of contracts.

Establishing and maintaining credit availability to ensure adequate liquidity for the Company.

Requirements

Preferred Nationality: Saudi National or Arab States

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting - MBA or equivalent strongly preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in treasury/banking operations.
Building complex financial models to evaluate various financial plans.
Proven track record of raising funding from institutions and financial partners in KSA.
Preparation of cash forecasts and cash flow analyses.
Building complex financial models to evaluate financial plans and proposed business cases.
Experience leading, coaching and developing staff.
Broad range of program management, business, and leadership skills required.
IRFS skill set to handle IRFS integration in KSA in 2016.

Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of treasury discipline.
Strong financial modelling skills.
Expert knowledge of Excel and financial functions.
Understand appropriate accounting procedures and processes.
