Vice President - MENA

The opportunity is to provide overall strategic, sales and operational responsibility for all the Middle East region for an international chemical application company servicing the oil & gas, industrial water and desalination markets.

You will lead, coach and develop the Middle East team to deliver long term sustainable growth in the region aligned with market strategies agreed at board level. This opportunity is primarily a leadership role managing sales and distributors channels within the region.

You will be required to travel nationally and internationally to grow the Middle East business by:
- Developing the strategic direction to deliver the sales and growth targets;
- Implementing the market, pricing and distribution strategies;
- Developing new opportunities whilst maintaining key customer contacts to develop further sales in new and ongoing projects;
- Leading the sales managers, distributors and supporting development of key suppliers;
- Providing monthly highlights and volume financial forecasts to S&OP teams.

The appointment forms part of the Executive Leadership team for an international company established over fifty years, supplying chemicals for water treatment projects globally. Projects include desalination plants converting seawater into drinking water. The product range includes applications used to destroy bacteria and prevent Legionnaires Disease in water storage systems.

Talent2's client product ranges are sold in over 80 countries from their operations in Europe, Far East, USA and UK. Company revenues achieved last year approximately $100 million; employing over 100 staff.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years proven track record of growing businesses with an international water treatment service or chemical company in the Middle East;
- Previous experience of managing sales teams, distributors and working with key regional suppliers;
- Fluent in English to present and manage sales with appreciation of the cross cultural sensitivities for the Middle East region.
