The Role


The Role

I am currently recruiting for a VP of Procurement to lead the department and join an integral part of a very successful business in Dubai.

My client are a well recognised and highly respected business group that strongly contribute to their growing markets.

Reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible for the Procurement for the entire group spanning across 5-6 sectors. From reviewing the buying processes for each of the businesses within the group to reducing costs, the ideal candidate will need to devise strategies on how to centralise the procurement across the different verticals and establish a smoother process that will create a much more balanced and profitable portfolio. You will need to have extensive experience of playing a similar part across a variety of sectors from FMCG to retail and understand the challenges that come with implementing change.

In order to be considered for the role, you will need to possess the following;

-Extensive experience in procurement
-UAE/GCC experience
-Experience of centralisation of departments across different functions preferable
-MNC experience preferable
-15 years minimum within procurement is a must
-Experience of working across different industries ie from FMCG to commodities to retail
-Be capable of leading a team of managers
-Arab national/speaker or Western
-Strong relevant qualifications
