The RoleThe RoleManage Video and Multimedia Services team, responsible for video services research, planning, design, implementation and configuration, capacity planning, upgrade and continuous enhancements. Managing, supervision and coaching the technical team members in creating and developing the different Business Services following quality/performance guidelines, corporate strategy, and best practices. Defining the Multimedia and Video Services strategies and evolution with alignment of different Business entities. Business Solutions requirements analysis, implementation, and integration needs including determination of product needs, product evaluation, cost analysis, and writing specifications for hardware and software application as in RFPs. Manage the video services infrastructure, applications and content services Create a team environment that fosters project delivery, team work and transparent communication (Team building, leadership, Coaching and problem management) Lead the team of Multimedia and Video Services who will be responsible for driving the video services within EITC. Setting objectives and priorities utilizing the available resources and technology. Adopt industry standard Knowledge management practices Develop best practices, Standard Operating Procedures on Multimedia and Video Services Defining and reviewing analytics to ensure the effectiveness of content state Multimedia and Video Services , and pushing toward continuous Services Work with cross-functional teams to determine the best content for each product, feature, or service and serving as the content expert to these teams. Delivering user-friendly video services documentation to business owners and technical development teams for approval and implementation Research the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure latest technologies and best practices in place to offer excellent customer experience. Plan new capacity requirements for video services Ensure proper handover of the implemented video services to O&M teams, through the proper documentation, having KPIs and SLAs in place and ensure proper knowledge transfer. Technical experience in IP technologies and Video Streaming with understanding of IPTV architecture, video on demand, triple play, home networks, and multimedia services. MPEG compression technology knowledge, preferably AVC/H.264 and its application plus familiarity with the DVB broadcast environment, the modulation options and the SI requirement. Network engineering expertise - TCP/IP, UDP/IP, Multicast, Network administration and troubleshooting - certification a plus. Manage the video services vendors, RFPs, RFIs and the technical vendor evaluation process until successful vendor selection and technical solution implementation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present material effectively to an executive audience. |
RequirementsRequirementsQualification: B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent. MIS, MBA is preferred Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in the IT/Telecom Field Good technical skills in the areas related to: Telecom products, Telecom Video-Voice-Data networks, Telecom value added services |
