The RoleThe RoleGlobal player seek a Virtualisation/VMware Architect. 1. Gathering Customer business requirements. Ability to gain awareness of business or function, for which application is designed, is important. 2. Creating high-level architecture and solution design that is scalable, flexible using best practices and analyzing business processes. 3. Expertise in ROI value case and diagnostic assessment of customer’s current environment to determine strengths, gaps and readiness for change 4. Expertise in architecting and designing server , storage and network consolidation & virtualization 5. Strong background in Virtualization technologies is a pre-requisite 6. Expertise in atleast one or two of the mainstream virtualization products – Vmware , Power VM, HyperV , etc. 7. Strong background in IT Service Management 8. Strong skills in and experience working with Systems Management tools 9. ITIL certification can be an added advantage 10. Minimum of 7-10 years experience in architecting IT Infrastructure solutions . 11. Knowledge of Hardware , Networking and Software (viz management software like Tivoli) is a prerequsite. 12. Must be fully competent to work under general direction on complex projects usually on specific assigned projects, issues and problems. |
