Visual Merchandising Manager

Job description / Role

My client, one of the leading action sports equipment, apparel and footwear distributors in the Middle East is currently looking to appoint a Visual Merchandising Manager. With the company rapidly growing their retail offerings across the GCC, they are looking for an experienced VM Manager to join them.

The role of Visual Merchandising Manager includes the following responsibilities,
- Plan and develop in store displays and promotions
- Develop creative and innovative VM solutions to include phase launches, sale packs, special projects and accessory guidelines
- Develop and train in store VM
- Coordinate with buyers, marketing team and operations teams to establish specific VM requirements
- Create exciting window concepts
- Coach, develop and benchmark visual associates for growth
- Support the distribution department
- Ensure that you and the entire team follow the company guidelines and adhere to standards

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills, experience of managing a team
- Experience in providing training a team
- Highly organised and an ability to changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A strong understanding of the Action Sports, Lifestyle and sports apparel market across the GCC
- Enthusiastic, driven and self-motivated attitude
