At this point in time, we are searching for a Support Engineer L2 to help our clients realize their business goals.

We rely on our great team of expert Support Engineers to assist in providing Information Technology services to our clients ensuring that their infrastructure and systems remain operational.

As a Support Engineer L2 , you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability of IT services by proactively identifying, investigating and resolving technical incidents and problems and to restore service to clients by managing incidents to resolution.

What we will expect you to do:
- We will rely on you to meet all service level agreement conditions.
- You will use your experience in support engineering and focus on second line support for medium complexity incidents.
- We will need you to ensure that the assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested and operational.
- You will need to assist in analyzing, assigning and escalating the support calls received at the service desk.
- We will rely on you to provide continuous feedback to clients and affected parties and update all systems and/or portals as prescribed by our procedures.
- But most of all, we need you to act as the bridge between business and IT. In order to achieve this you will be required to strictly comply with all processes and procedures as prescribed by us and the client when relevant.

Requirements

Key requirements:
- Experience as a Support Engineer - let's say about 6 years, of which at least 4 years must be in a related industry.
- A matric certificate.
- CCNP in R&S / A+ / N+.
- CCNP in either Voice or Security.
- MCSE would be advantageous.
- Hold a valid UAE or International driver's license.
- Be physically fit and obtain the ability to swim. (Part of the job requirement may require you to travel to offshore sites therefore you may have to take a sea survival course).

- Able to effectively communicate with clients, team members and management alike.
- Able to balance delivery with agreed and contracted expectations.
- Able to work with large volumes of detail.
