Al-Futtaim is regarded as a pioneer in the Gulf region's Automotive industry and encompasses every aspect of the Automotive business; from passenger and commercial vehicles and construction equipment sales and service, to used car sales and rental and leasing.

Al Futtaim Auto Center (ALAC) is part of the Al Futtaim's Automotive Division. ALAC has six divisions comprising of Body Centers - Toyota & Lexus within UAE, Fast Repair, Customs & Classics, Auto Equip, Tyre Zone and Fastfit. ALAC offers end to end solutions in aftersales for both business to business & retail customers.We are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager to join the Tyrezone team with Al Futtaim Auto Centres. The main purpose of this role is to manage the central warehouse and branch warehouse operations as per procedure and policy.

The main responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- To plan and organize the day-to-day functions of the warehouse, and oversee work organized by inbound and outbound team leaders. Maintain efficiency of warehouse operations that supports the sales and customer service objectives of the business. Develop ways to improve warehouse operation.
- To plan and accomplish the inbound offloading of containers as per daily targets and take measures to offload a greater number of inbound containers. Monitor and maintain the efficiency of inbound receipts by ensuring the condition and latest DOT goods, appropriate and correct binning and reporting the variance to Head Office.
- To accomplish daily outbound targets by ensuring timely picking and loading of correct goods as per delivery orders. Plan to meet the fluctuations in outbound requirements and regularize stock transfers in the relevantsystem.
- The maintainance of stock in proper storage without affecting the condition of goods. Ensure FIFO for new stock and LIFO for normal recall stock and regularly monitor the space utilization and strive to maximize this in order to fit in more stock during increased inbound deliveries.
- To safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures, and ensure that workplace's health, safety and hygiene requirements are met as per the standards and guidelines by Health & Safety Manager - UAE.
- To manage the warehouse staff to complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results and providing necessary training. Motivating, organizing and encouraging team work within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met. Identify the manpower or overtime requirements and liaise with Head Office.
- Maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse and assets by proper maintenance, inspecting equipment, processing requests for repairs, replacement and budgeting. Maintain housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding area.
- Planning future capacity requirements and prepare plans and lay outs for expansion, improvement and development of warehouse and the setting up of new warehouses.
-Maintaining the physical inventory without discrepancy and carrying out weekly physical inventory checks.
- Producing inbound and outbound status reports, dead stock and old DOT reports and other statistics etc. Keeping stock control system and documents up to date.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Minimum Experience:
5 - 10 years' experience in similar role.

Job-Specific Skills:
Inventory management control, warehouse management skills, planning and organizing skills

Behavioural Competencies:
Excellent Team Leader, decision making and problem solving, people management skills.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Graduate / Post Graduate or equivalent qualification.
