The Role


From our base in Kuwait, we support all areas of our retail and warehouse operations. At the close of each trading day, all sales figures and stock movements are downloaded to our head office and to our partners via our secure state-of-the-art IT system. Careful analysis allows the correct decisions to be taken for each individual business unit. EPOS technology is installed in every outlet in each country, and a web enabled communications network is in place. Each international brand has its own dedicated management team to service their particular requirements.

The Role:

The IT Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, designing and managing IT technical requirements and support for warehouse operation.

Responsibilities:

* Analyses and defines standards for IT service level agreement with business
* Provides administrative support to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) team
* Meets ongoing technical support needs which are proposed by logistics operations in line with the growth of the business
* Ensures policies and procedures and ISMS standards are maintained across the region
* Assists with identifying and resolving operational and procedural issues
* Participates in brainstorming sessions to streamline current and new processes and to submit process improvement on a consistent basis
* Participates in testing of new WMS applications and improving the performance of existing hardware infrastructure including wireless equipment

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science and Certified for all major Business Management Technologies
* Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related hardware, Wireless device Management, set up and Maintenance
* Minimum 5 years of experience of Technical Support Management in Distribution environment Retail warehousing or 3 PLs and 3-5 years general WMS experience
* Experience in SQL server 2005/2008 database structure
* Ability to act independently and to work in international teams
* Good communication and time management skills
* Detail oriented
* Arabic language an advantage
